STARKVILLE – For the third time in her career, former Mississippi State All-American Ally Ewing was selected to represent the United States in the 2023 Solheim Cup. The 18th rendition of the competition takes place at Finca Cortesin in Andalucia, Spain on September 22-24.
The Solheim Cup matches up the 12 best European golfers against the 12 best golfers from the United States. The first two days will hold foursome matches in the morning followed by four-ball matches in the afternoon. The final day will feature 12 singles matches.
During the 2023 season in the LPGA, Ewing has picked up five top 10 finishes. She finished fourth in her most recent tournament, the Kroger City Championship, with a score of 12-under par. At the LPGA Drive On Championship, Ewing finished 17-under, her best score of the year, to secure a top five finish.
The Solheim Cup will be broadcast on NBC’s Golf Channel, as well as the NBC Sports App.
