Women's Golf Fourth After Day One


Columbia, Mo- The University of Missouri women’s golf team opened up the first day of the Johnie Imes Invitational, placing fourth through 18 holes.  

Sophomore Jade Zamora led the Tigers as an individual, finishing one-under 71 with a strong back nine, that featured two birdies and no bogeys. Sophomore Melanie Walker finished close behind with an even score of 72 and sophomore Addie Dobson rounded out the top Tigers with a score of 73. 

Four Tigers finished with scores of 74 on the day – Fleur van Beek, Ffion Tynan, Winnie Ng, Kate Bibby – to go towards the team score.

The second round begins at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning for Mizzou.
