ANDALUSIA: THE HEART OF THE 2023 SOLHEIM CUP

The southernmost region of Spain and more specifically the Costa del Sol, became the epicenter of world golf on the celebration of the Solheim Cup 2023 from September 18th to 24th at Finca Cortesin.

This September, Andalusia has been the real heart of women’s golf worldwide on the Solheim Cup 2023, an event that pitted the best European and American players at Finca Cortesin, Casares.

A heart that beat stronger than ever from Costa del Sol, the Mediterranean coast of the province of Malaga where golf is much more than a sport, since, with more than 70 courses, it is the area with the highest concentration of golf courses in Europe.

With this data, the fact that this region was chosen to host the Solheim Cup for the first time in Spain, was no trivial matter and this event was an excellent loudspeaker to publicize the countless attractions of the area, both to the millions of viewers who watched the tournament on TV and the thousands of lucky ones who attended live.
