PULLMAN, Wash. (Oct. 8, 2023) – The Washington State men’s golf team readies for its second of three-straight weeks of tournament action as it competes in the Oregon State Invitational, Oct. 9-10 in Corvallis, Ore.
The Course and Tournament Format
The 2023 Oregon State Invitational will be held at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Ore. The course will play as a par-71 at 7,384 yards.
Teams will play 36 holes on Monday, Oct. 9 followed by a final 18 holes Tuesday.

Last Time Out
For the second-straight tournament, sophomore Sam Renner finished as the low Cougar, concluding his tournament at 2-under, 214, finishing in a tie for 17th at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational, Oct. 2-3 in Erie, Colo. WSU ended the three-round event at 5-under, 859, and in fifth place.

Head Coach Dustin White is in his eighth season leading his alma mater. The 2023-24 Cougar squad, which returns nine members from last season, looks to build of the 2023 campaign which saw WSU post its best showing at a Pac-12 Championship, finishing in a tie for third. The Cougars also made a return to postseason play competing in the 2023 National Golf Invitational Championship, only the second time in program history that WSU has played in a postseason tournament, and first since the 2002 NCAA West Regional. The Cougars finished in a tie for sixth at the NGI.
