LOS ANGELES – USC women’s golf couldn’t find the mark on No. 9 UCLA’s home course, as the Trojans fell to their crosstown rival 4-1 on Thursday (Oct. 12) at the Bel-Air C.C.
Junior Amari Avery was the lone USC golfer to take home a win, as she broke the tie in the No. 1 match on hole No. 12 to take the lead and owned it from then on out.

Kate Villegas def. Xin (Cindy) Kou 3&1
Zoe Antoinette Campos def. Catherine Park 3&2
*Jennifer Seo def. Brianna Navarrosa 1 UP
*Did not finish No. 18 due to darkness. The final hole ruled as a tie.
Next up, the Trojans head to another Pac-12 rival territory as they compete in the Stanford Intercollegiate Oct. 20-22 at the Stanford Golf Course.
