In the second round of the 2023 Shriners Children’s Open, Lexi Thompson carded a 2-under 69 to finish at even-par for the tournament, narrowly missing the cut and the chance to be the first woman to make a cut on the PGA TOUR since 1945.

Las Vegas welcomes the FedExCup Fall to TPC Summerlin this week for the Shriners Children’s Open. Tom Kim is in Vegas to defend a PGA TOUR title for the first time after a bogey-free 72 holes saw him become the youngest winner in the tournament’s history in 2022. He’ll be looking to take his good form into the fall after a T-20 finish at the TOUR Championship. Ludvig Åberg will also be teeing it up at TPC Summerlin. The European Ryder Cup Team member played himself into a five-man playoff last week at the Sanderson Farms Championship and will look to qualify for The Sentry (with a victory) or the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Genesis Invitational (via The Next 10 from the final FedExCup Fall standings). Si Woo Kim will also be in Las Vegas this week. The South Korean will be beaming after winning the gold medal at the Asian Games with Sungjae Im. He’s managed two T-8 finishes and a T15 at TPC Summerlin previously. Others to look out for are Cam Davis, Rasmus Højgaard, Adam Schenk and Akshay Bhatia.
