At the 2023 World Wide Technology Championship, Erik van Rooyen carded rounds of 68-64-66-63 to finish at 27-under for the tournament, good enough for a two-stroke win over the field for his second victory of his PGA TOUR career.

The FedExCup Fall returns to the Western Hemisphere this week for the World Wide Technology Championship at El Cardonal Golf Course at Diamante in Los Cabos, Mexico. This will be the first time the PGA TOUR hosts an event at a Tiger Woods-designed layout. Ludvig Åberg is set to tee it up as he looks to solidify his spot inside the top 125 in the FedExCup standings. The Swede fell in a playoff at the Sanderson Farms Championship at the start of October and finished tied for 13th at the Shriners Children’s Open the week after with a final round of 10-under par. Sahith Theegala will also be teeing it up in Mexico this week. He earned his first PGA TOUR win in the opening event of the FedExCup Fall, the Fortinet Championship, and notched a T19 at the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP two weeks ago. Theegala has also managed eight top-10 finishes this season. Lucas Glover will also be in Mexico this week, making his first start since the TOUR Championship. He claimed back-to-back victories earlier this year with wins at the Wyndham Championship and the FedEx St. Jude Championship. The American has also finished T22 or better in eight of his last 10 events. Others to look out for are Cameron Young, Emiliano Grillo, Akshay Bhatia and Matt Kuchar.
