Gators Sign Jessica Guiser and Elaine Widjaja

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida women’s golf head coach Emily Glaser announced the signing of Jessica Guiser and Elaine Widjaja to the program on Wednesday.

The two will join the program next fall for the 2024-25 season. 

Jessica Guiser | Hartland, Wis. | IMG Academy 

  • Ranked No. 1 golfer in Wisconsin in the Class of 2024
  • 2023 AJGA Merrill Hills Champions
  • Made it to match play at the U.S. Girls Junior Championship
  • Won Wisconsin High School State Individual Champion in her freshman season 
  • 2023 Wisconsin PGA Junior Champion 
  • 2015 Drive, Chip and Putt Finalist 

Why Florida:
“I chose Florida because I believe it has the environment and resources to allow me to reach my potential academically and athletically. Getting to wear the orange and blue means representing the University of Florida not only for my time at college but also after. It means representing by being a role model for younger generations and representing with pride.”

Glaser on Guiser:

“Jessica is a great athlete and competitor and will be a huge asset to our program during her tenure at UF.  We are so excited to watch her blossom in the college environment and amongst our Gator Family.”

Elaine Widjaja | Semarang, Indonesia | Bina Bangsa School 

  • Led Indonesia to a Silver Medal at the 2023 Sea Games 
  • 2023 Kejuaraan National Golf Amateur Champion
  • 2023 Medco Pondok Indah Amateur Champion 
  • Recorded a T7 individual finish at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Team Championship
  • Helped Indonesia to a 3rd place finish in the Asia-Pacific Amateur Team Championship
  • Finished T18 at the 2023 Asia Pacific Amateur 
  • 2022 Indonesia Amateur Champion
  • 2022 LLD Sport International Amateur Champion 
  • 2022 Thailand Junior Development Tour Champion
