DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — The Delray Beach version of PopStroke miniature golf debuted on Wednesday.
Founded in 2018, the Jupiter-based business is a technology-infused sleek putting course, offering visitors “experiential golf.” Tiger Woods is to thank for that, as well as golf company TaylorMade.
Two 18-hole putting courses are featured at each PopStroke location. They’re built entirely with synthetic turf. They incorporate fairways, bunkers and rough, though.
The Delray Beach location will be the first of three locations coming to Palm Beach County.
Here’s what else to know:
What else will Tiger Woods’ Delray Beach PopStroke mini-golf location have?
On top of its experiential golf, PopStroke offers guests the chance to dine. Its amenities include multiple bars featuring craft beers, cocktails and wine, on-course mobile app drink delivery, an ice cream parlor and a full-service restaurant.
Through its technology, PopStroke offers visitors two curated golf courses on a scale spanning only about three or four acres. It promises guests an “unmatched, interactive and unique” golf outing.
Like the other Popstroke locations, golfers can keep score on the Popstroke app, with jumbotrons around the venue displaying in-game scoring. You can order drinks and have them brought out to you on the course. When you’re hungry, there are large outdoor sports bars with menu service.
And at the end of your round, you don’t watch your ball disappear into the final hole, never to be seen again. At Popstroke, golfers get to keep their TaylorMade ball.
Who is PopStroke mini-golf complex for?
The company was launched by former Wall Street banker Greg Bartoli for everyone, from ages 5 to 75. It welcomes all skill levels.
It also offers various event packages for parties of all sizes. And throughout the year, PopStroke hosts competitive putting tournaments.
