Sunday was meant to feature 36 holes followed by 18 on Monday, but play had to be halted several times throughout the day due to heavy rain and lightning. Round two will begin on Monday at 8:15 am and be immediately followed by the third and final round.
Tennessee sits eight strokes off the leaders Ohio State; senior Kayla Holden led the way with a score of even (72). After three early bogeys, the Port St. Lucie, Florida, native settled in nicely with 10 pars in a row, followed by two birdies in her final two holes to rise into the top 10.
Sophomore Manassanan Chotikabhukkana and junior Bailey Davis are tied for 20th with a score of 3-over (75). Sophomore Angela Arora is in 37th place with a score of 5-over (77), and senior Vanessa Gilly heads into the final day in 65th place with a 9-over (81) score.
