The UW women’s golf team makes its annual trip to the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif., for the Juli Inkster Invitational this Monday and Tuesday, March 4-5.

The teams will play two rounds on Monday and a third on Thursday, on the par-72, 6,175-yard Meadow Club course. The tournament is hosted by San Jose State and features a total of 14 teams, including seven members of the Pac-12 Conference.

Washington will tee off Monday morning on holes 4-7, playing with golfers from Oregon State and BYU.

The Juli Inkster is a regular stop on the Huskies’ annual schedule. Two years ago, UW’s Camille Boyd fired a 7-under 65 in the final round to finish with a 14-under total of 202, good for medalist honors. Her total was a UW record vs. par for 54 holes. Last year, both Boyd and Brittany Kwon finished in the top-20.

Last week, in their first full team tournament of the spring, the Huskies took fifth place at the Pac-12 Preview at Nanea G.C. on the BIg Island of Hawai’i.

Following the Huskies’ trip to Northern California this week, the team will next play at the Hawai’i Invitational March 17-19, on the island of Kauai.
