University of Missouri men’s golf sits in second place of 14 teams through one day of action at the Colleton River Collegiate in South Carolina.
During Monday’s action, the Tigers are 17-under before the second round was suspended due to darkness. Two-time defending champion Georgia Southern leads the field with 25-under, while Mizzou is tied with Minnesota and Chattanooga in second.
Three Tigers are in the top 15 after one day. Senior Jack Lundin is eighth overall at six-under, carding a 67 in the first round before posting a one-under through 15 holes in round two. Classmate Charlie Crockett is ninth at five-under with an opening round 72 before going five-under so far in round two. Sophomore Alfons Bondesson follows at four-under to place 14th overall – posting a 69 in the first round and going one-under in round two so far.
The final day of action opens at 7 a.m. CT on Tuesday morning.
