The Nebraska men’s golf team resumes spring action at The Johnnie-O at Sea Island in St. Simons Island, Ga., March 11-12.

The 14-team event, which is hosted by Rutgers at the Sea Island Golf Club, features a strong Midwestern flavor with six Big Ten teams (Illinois, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers) and a four of Big 12 teams (Cincinnati, Kansas, Kansas State, Texas), along with Augusta and Notre Dame.

The teams will take to the course for two rounds on Monday, March 11 with a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. (CT), before concluding the 54-hole event with the final round on Tuesday, March 12 with tee times at 7 a.m. (CT).

Nebraska returns to competition after a more than three-week break since competing at The Gator (Feb. 16-17).

Juniors Hamish Murray and Harry Crockett shared Nebraska’s top individual finishes in Florida with a tie for 35th at 215 (+5). Quinn Yost and Evan Myers also competed in the Husker lineup in Gainesville, and will be back in the top five with Murray and Crockett in Georgia.

Sophomore Davis Johnson rounds Nebraska’s lineup at The Johnnie-O, while Grant Jabenis, Will Marshall and Reed Malleck all will compete as individuals.
