Scottie Scheffler is back to his winning ways.
The world No. 1 rolled a hot putter to his seventh PGA Tour win on Sunday at the 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational, the fourth signature event of the season. Scheffler, 27, shot a 6-under 66 in the final round to claim a five-shot win at 15 under over Wyndham Clark (70). The victory is Scheffler’s first since the 2023 Players Championship and will net him a whopping $4 million for his efforts.
In five starts this season Scheffler has four top-10 finishes with top-fives at the Sentry (T-5) and WM Phoenix Open (T-3). His worst finish of the season is a T-17 at the American Express.
Next week, March 14-17, the Tour will host its flagship event, the 2024 Players Championship, at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
