Women’s Golf Adds Two for 2024-25


PULLMAN, Wash. (March 19, 2024) – Washington State Women’s Golf Head Coach Sofie Aagaard announced two signees to the 2024 signing class on Tuesday, March 19.

Agnes Brink | 5-6 | Helsingborg, Sweden (Filbornaskolan)

Brink comes to Washington State from Helsingborg, Sweden, where she attended Filbornaskolan.

In Sweden, she played with the Vasatorps Golf Club where she placed first at the 2023 Carin Hjalmarsson Junior Open in July, shooting a 73 in round one and a 71 in round two for a 144 two-round score. In 2022, she sank the putt that sent her team to the National Final in Portugal.

Brink was born on June 14, 2004 and enjoys music, animals, and watching documentaries. She plans to major in Criminology.

Growing up in a golf family in the south of Sweden, Agnes comes to us with great experience and knowledge of the game and competition at a high level. She knows what it takes to be great and does not shy away from hard work. She is passionate about the process of getting one day better and with a positive focus on developing her game to take it to the next level, she will bring great energy and passion to our team.”

Grace Rubelsky | 5-4 | Phoenix, Ariz. (Xavier Prep)

Rubelsky comes to the Palouse from Phoenix, Arizona, where she attended Xavier Prep and was a member of the Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA).

In the 2023 season, Rubelsky had five top-10 finishes in JGAA events, placing sixth at the Chandler City Junior, and fourth at the Milt Coggins. On her high school team, she had a sixth-place finish at the AIA D1 Girls High School State Championship.

She has grown year after year, earning Xavier College Prep Most Improved Player of the Year in the 2021-22 season, and then again in 2022-23 and 2023-24. Also in 2023-24, she was named First Team All-Conference and Republic’s All-Arizona Girls High School Golf Team Honorable Mention. In 2022-23 she was named Second Team All-Conference and in 2021 won the JGAA Sportsmanship Award.
