Women’s Golf Wraps Up Play in Georgia


University of Missouri women’s golf finished the regular season on Saturday, competing at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the University of Georgia.

Sophomores Melanie Walker and Addie Dobson led the Tigers on the final day with a 76, both leading Mizzou in 2-of-3 rounds over the weekend. Walker finished 40th at the tournament with a 225 (77-72-76), while Dobson carded a 232 (74-82-76).

Also in action was Ffion Tynan, tallying a 228 (75-76-78), Fleur van Beek with a 232 (80-74-78) and Winnie Ng with a 239 (83-78-78).

As a team, the Tigers placed 16th with a score of 914. No. 10 Auburn won the team title by 11 strokes over No. 15 Florida.

The Tigers now turn their attention toward the postseason as they prepare for the SEC Championship, beginning on Friday, April 12.
