Nelly Korda has done it again.
For the fifth time this year and the four time in five weeks, Korda has come out on top of an LPGA tournament, this time at a major, the 2024 Chevron Championship, to join Nancy Lopez and Annika Sorenstam as the only ones to ever win five tour events in a row.
It’s the second year the tournament has been played at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas, and the traditon of jumping in the lake near the 18th hole has continued.
Korda has won 12 times in her LPGA career and now has two major championships. She won $1.2 million for the Chevron victory, and that puts her over the $10 million mark in her career.
