The Hokies fired a 34-over 886 (285-287-314). North Carolina earned the top seed for match play by returning a 10-under 842 (275-277-290) to the clubhouse. Florida State, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest all tied for second at 4-under 848.
Kobe Valociek and Rahul Rajendran tied for 40th at 8-over 221 to pace Tech.
Wake Forest’s Michael Brennan and Florida State’s Frederik Kjettrup forced a playoff for the individual title after logging a 7-under 206.
With the Cavaliers finishing ahead of the Hokies at the ACC Championships, Virginia receives one point in the Commonwealth Clash, presented by Smithfield. The score for the Commonwealth Clash currently is 12-6.5 in favor of Virginia. For more information, visit here.
