The Wildcats are three strokes behind Baylor for fifth place on the team leaderboard, with the top five teams at the end of Wednesday’s final round advancing to the NCAA Championship.

“We were able to find a few more birdies out there today and limit the bigger numbers better than yesterday, which helped us stay right there with the top five on the leaderboard,” Arizona head coach Laura Ianello said. “Charlotte was able to really going on her second nine to move into the top 10 individually, but we also saw Gile, Carolina, Pimmada and Julia play well on their second nine to give us some momentum heading into the final round.”

Freshman Charlotte Back posted a round of 3-under on Tuesday, with three birdies and just one bogey on the card. She is now 2-under for the tournament and tied for 10th place.
