2024 Paris Summer Olympics men’s golf field with week until cutoff

2024 PGA Championship

The Olympics are almost here.

Le Golf National, the 2018 Ryder Cup venue and home of the DP World Tour’s Open de France since 1991, will play host to the men’s competition Aug. 1-4 and the women’s from Aug. 7-10. This summer will mark the third consecutive Olympic Games to include golf after its return to the schedule in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

Just 60 players will earn a spot based on the official International Golf Federation world ranking list as of June 17, 2024, and it’s important to remember the Olympic qualifying criteria is designed to ensure players from around the world are represented, even if that means a large portion of the field is ranked outside the top 200.

The top-15 players in the world are eligible, with a limit of four players from any given country. The rest of the field will come straight from the rankings, with a maximum of two eligible players from each country that does not already have two or more players in the top 15. The host country, France, is ensured at least one spot.

In one week, we’ll know for certain who’s heading to Paris. But at Pinehurst, some golfers will have one last opportunity to play their way in.

Here’s a look at the current men’s field for the 2024 Paris Olympics (OWGR in parentheses).
