After the second men’s major championship of the year at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, the golf world is descending upon Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina this week for the 2024 U.S. Open.
The legendary course last hosted the USGA’s flagship event in 2014 when Martin Kaymer hoisted the trophy at 9 under (that year, the U.S. Women’s Open was hosted on the same course the week after, won by Michelle Wie West).
The game’s best players including world No. 1 and Masters champion Scottie Scheffler, PGA Championship winner Xander Schauffele, Rory McIlroy, LIV Golf’s Jon Rahm and 152 other golfers will battle for the title.
