Spartans Add Taylor Kehoe to Roster for 2024-25 Season


East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State head women’s golf coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll announced the addition of Taylor Kehoe to the roster for the 2024-25 season.

A native of Ontario, Canada, Kehoe joins the Spartans after spending her first two years at the University of Alabama.

“It’s great to have Taylor join our family,” Slobodnik-Stoll said. “Taylor comes to us after gaining experience while playing at Alabama in a very competitive conference. She not only had extensive experience as a junior but won several events and had the opportunity to represent her country during international play. Taylor is a terrific young woman and we are really excited to welcome her and her family to the Spartan Family.”

Kehoe played in 10 of the team’s 11 events during her first year with the Crimson Tide in 2022-23 and then played in all four tournaments during the 2023 fall season.

In the fall 2023 season, Kehoe posted three top-20 finishes and concluded the season with a 71.25 scoring average, second-best on the team, and was second on the team in average vs. par (-0.75) and round of par or better (8). She fired a career-best 9-under par 207 (72-71-64) tie for second overall at the Landfall Tradition and tied for fourth at 5-under par 211 (69-71-71) at the Boilermaker Invitational.

As a freshman during the 2022-23 season, Kehoe posted a 75.43 scoring average and a +3.16 average vs. par. She carded five rounds of par or better, which ranked fourth on the team, and posted a pair of top-20 finishes. Kehoe was named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week on Oct. 20, 2022 after tying for fifth at The Ally, posting a 1-over par 217 (72-74-71), her best performance of the year.

Kehoe excelled in the classroom and was a Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar in 2023 and was selected to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

During her prep career in Canada, Kehoe was named a 2020 American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Junior All-America honorable mention and won five AJGA tournaments. In 2021, she shot a 5-over par 221 (75-75-73) with seven birdies at the AJGA Junior at 12 Oaks at The Club At 12 Oaks in Holly Springs, N.C., captured a pair of wins during the 2020 AJGA season (claiming medalist honors at the Randy Wise Junior Open and the Junior at Knollwood) and in 2019 she won twice on the AJGA campaign (the Pinehurst Junior and…
