Six Student-Athletes Named to 2024 CSC Academic All-District Team – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Athletics had six student-athletes named to the 2024 College Sports Communications Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Team. These student-athletes consist of four different Clemson Athletic programs: Women’s Gymnastics, Women’s Golf, Women’s Lacrosse, and Rowing. Gymnastics celebrated its inaugural season and had the highest number of student-athletes named to the team, with three total: Rebecca Wells, Lilly Lippeatt, and Molly Arnold. Women’s Golf, Women’s Lacrosse, and Rowing with one each: Isabella Rawl, Emily Lamparter, and Emerey Sampson.

Academic All-District is a title reserved for college student-athletes who perform at an elite level in their chosen sport and in the classroom. Academic All-America is the longest-running and premier athletic and academic success award across various NCAA Division levels.

Lamparter, Lippeatt, and Sampson were selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists. They will advance to the national ballot, which will be voted on by CSC members in July.

Women’s Gymnastics

Molly Arnold

Arnold competed in all 13 meets for the Tigers as a floor and vault specialist. During her first season as a Tiger, Arnold tallied a career and team-high 9.975 on vault and tallied the first 9.95 on the floor in program history. In the postseason, Arnold competed as an individual in the NCAA Tournament, recording a 9.900 on vault and a 9.850 on floor. In 2024, Arnold was named to the ACC All-Academic Team; in 2022, she was named to the Academic All-MRGC Team. Arnold is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Capital Education and Development.

Lilly Lippeatt

Lippeatt competed in 12 meets for the Tigers as a bars and beam specialist. During her freshman campaign, Lippeatt earned the first 9.900 in program history on bars against William & Mary, also a career-best. In 11 appearances, she recorded a 9.700 or higher on the beam and a 9.800 or higher in every one of her floor appearances. Against Air Force, Lippeatt scored a career-best 9.925 on the floor. After the ACC Championship, Lippeatt was named the 2024 ACC Newcomer of the Year and was a part of the All-ACC Team, All-ACC Championship Team, and the All-ACC Academic Team. Lippeatt is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Rebecca Wells

Wells competed in all 13 meets for the Tigers as an All-Around competitor. She recorded a career-best 9.950 twice on beam against NC State and Air Force. Additionally, she holds seven individual…
