Troon acquires CaddieNow – Golf Inc Magazine

Troon announced that it has acquired CaddieNow, a caddie technology and management company based in Lincoln, Nebraska, that currently has partnerships with more than 50 clubs in 25 states. Troon’s current caddie services division also includes CADDIEMASTER and ClubUp and the addition of CaddieNow allows the company to offer a full complement of caddie solutions based on a given property’s individual needs.

Former CaddieNow President and COO Tommy Joyce, a PGA professional with extensive business experience with caddie services and staffing, recently joined the CADDIEMASTER team as the company’s new chief operating officer.

CADDIEMASTER, located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, is a premier provider of caddie services, including turnkey management, technology and consulting solutions. It has clients at some 70 resort destinations and private clubs throughout the country and abroad.

Troon previously acquired ClubUp in July 2022. It provides partner clubs and resorts with innovative technology to help improve the caddie experience for club staff, golfers and caddies, as well as offering a more efficient way to schedule and communicate with caddies. ClubUp’s technology provides notable improvements to productivity for caddie programs. It also provides GPS technology to help clubs improve outside service operations technology as well as pace of play tools and a staff-scheduling platform.
