Kelley Hester Extended Through 2029 – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Women’s Golf Head Coach Kelley Hester has agreed to an extension that runs through the end of 2029, Director of Athletics Graham Neff announced. One year since leading the Tigers to its first conference title in program history, Hester again advanced to the ACC finals and then led the team to its first NCAA Quarterfinals appearance in match play.

Hester is entering her ninth season as the head coach of the women’s golf program this fall. Under her leadership, the Tigers reached match play in the NCAA National Tournament, finishing fifth in the nation, and were runners-up at the ACC Championship after winning their first title in 2023. With a perfect attendance record in the NCAA Tournament, Hester has guided the program to its first five tournament victories, achieved 37 top-five finishes, and led Clemson to three consecutive NCAA national tournament appearances—the first in the school’s history.

In Clemson’s NCAA run this season, the Tigers to a second-place finish at the Bryan (Texas) regional before advancing to the NCAA Championship in Carlsbad, Calif. Hester has guided eight All-ACC performers in her eight seasons at the helm of the Tiger program; as well as eight NCAA Regional Appearances.
