2024-25 Miami Golf Schedule Announced – University of Miami Athletics

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami head golf coach Janice Olivencia announced the Hurricanes’ 2024-25 schedule Monday afternoon.

For the fourth straight season, Miami will open the year at the Cougar Classic (Sept. 9-10) in Charleston, S.C., before traveling to East Lansing, Mich., to compete in the Mary Fossum Invitational at Forest Akers Golf Club (Sept. 22-23).

The Hurricanes open October with a trip to Knoxville, Tenn., to play in the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate at Cherokee Country Club (Oct. 20-22).

Miami will then return to Coral Gables, Fla., to host the Hurricane Invitational (Oct. 28-29), an event the Hurricanes won in 2023. Then-senior Sara Byrne took home the individual title last season after shooting a program-record 19-under-par (197).

The Hurricanes tee off the spring schedule with a trip out west to take part in the Therese Hession Regional Challenge (Feb. 2-4), hosted by the Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes, Calif.

A month later, Miami will return to the west to compete in the Mountain View Collegiate (March 2-4) at the Preserve Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz.

Following their trip to Arizona, the Hurricanes close out the regular season slate with back-to-back tournaments in South Carolina. For the third year in a row, Miami will play in the Briar’s Creek Invitational (March 10-11) in Charleston, S.C., before traveling to Sunset, S.C., to take part in the Clemson Invitational (March 28-30) at The Reserve at Lake Keowee.

The 2025 ACC Championship is slated for April 16-19 at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.

NCAA Regional play falls on May 5-7, with the six hosts sites being Charlottesville, Va., Columbus, Ohio, Golf Canyon, Ariz., Lexington, Ky., Lubbock, Texas and Norman, Okla.

The NCAA Championship will be held May 16-21 at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa Champions Course in Carlsbad, Calif.
