CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Thomas Detry continues his FedEx Cup Playoff push at the BMW Championship, headlining a group of five former Illini in action this week across the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, DP World Tour, and PGA Tour Americas.
PGA TOUR
Detry enters play this week at the BMW Championship, held at Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colorado, 10 spots clear of the top-50 ranking necessary to qualify for the second leg of the three-event playoff.
Coming off of a T46 finish last week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, Detry secured his qualification for next season’s eight signature events on tour. He will need a minimum finish of solo 22nd to give himself a chance to crack the top-30 FedEx Cup ranking necessary to advance to next week’s TOUR Championship at East Lake.
