McMyler Advances to LPGA Qualifying Stage


RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – Following four impressive rounds at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California at the LPGA Pre-Qualifying Stage, former Duke women’s golf All-American Emma McMyler advanced to the Qualifying Stage of the LPGA Qualifying Series. 
 
McMyler, a recent graduate of the Duke Fuqua School of Business, carded rounds of 69, 71, 72 and 68 for an 8-under, 280, to finish tied for 15th overall.  In her final round of 4-under, 68, McMyler registered seven birdies to help her move up the leaderboard. 
 
The top-95 and ties moved on to the Qualifying Stage, which will take place Oct. 15-18 at the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Florida.
