Before the 2024 Tour Championship gets underway Thursday morning in Atlanta, the newly-restored East Lake Golf Club will host 16 golf content creators for The Creator Classic on Wednesday.

Some of the players involved in the event include Wesley and George Bryan, Garrett Clark of Good Good, Fat Perez of Bob Does Sports and Paige Spiranac. You can find the entire field here.

The changes to East Lake have added a significant amount of difficulty and it’ll be interesting to see how the creators get around the historic club. This made-for-TV event will take place on the back nine and will consist of eight holes of gross stroke play, then a playoff between the top four finishers.

Keep up to date with The Creator Classic throughout the afternoon below.

Kwon wins it with a birdie

Luke Kwon, a former Oklahoma Sooner college golfer, made a birdie on the 18th hole to win the first ever Creator Classic.

Scoring after 8 holes

The format called for eight holes of stroke play (they started on No. 10) with the top four advancing to the 18th hole to determine the champ. The scoring through eight holes:

  • Wesley Bryan, 2 under
  • Luke Kwon, 1 under
  • Roger Steele, 1 under
  • Sean Walsh, 1 under

The four-way final-hole test resets the score and from here, the winner is whoever is the lowest on the last.
