DURHAM, N.C. – With the 2024-25 season preparations in full swing, Duke men’s golf has announced its schedule for the upcoming campaign. The team will play in 10 regular-season events, highlighted by Duke’s annual home event, the Rod Myers Invitational, which will be held on Sept. 22 and 23 at the Duke University Golf Club.
Duke begins the year on the West Coast, traveling to play in the Sahalee Players Championship. The event, considered one of the top season-opening events in the country, boasts a strong 12-team field that includes 10 that reached NCAA regional play last season and seven that finished last year inside the top 25. The first two rounds are scheduled for Sept. 7 and the tournament concludes on Sept. 8.
The Blue Devils then return home for the Rod Myers Invitational in late September before turning the calendar to October with a trip to Warren Golf Course in Indiana for the Fighting Irish Classic. Notre Dame hosts the event, played on Oct. 6 and 7.Â
Two more tournaments in October rounds out the fall schedule, starting on Oct. 18-20 with the annual Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate – played on the Lakeside Course at the Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta. Duke will then take part in The Clerico, hosted by Oral Roberts on Oct. 28 and 29, at The Oaks Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
For the 2025 portion of Duke’s schedule, the Blue Devils first return to the west coast for The Southwestern Invitational on Jan. 27-29 at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California. The Hayt, held at Sawgrass Country Club, is up next from March 10-12 followed by the General Hackler Championship the following weekend (March 16-18). Duke travels back to Florida one final time in the regular season for The Valspar Intercollegiate on March 24 and 25 before wrapping up the regular season at North Carolina’s Tar Heel Intercollegiate, played at Finley Golf Club on April 12 and 13.Â
Postseason play begins at the ACC Championship, which previously was announced to be hosted at The Club at Olde Stone, in Bowling Green, Kentucky on April 24-28. NCAA Regionals are played May 12-14 and the NCAA Championship returns to Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, in Carlsbad, California on May 23-28.Â
