Vanderbilt Men's Golf | Teeing Off in Toledo

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The No. 3-ranked Vanderbilt men’s golf team begin its chase for a championship this week at the Inverness Intercollegiate. The two day, 54-hole tournament will take place at the Inverness Club on Monday and Tuesday.

Tournament Format
The 2024 Inverness Intercollegiate, hosted by Toledo, features two 18-hole rounds of stroke play on Monday and a third on Tuesday. Monday will begin at 8:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start and Tuesday will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Course Information
The Inverness Club is a 6,972-yard course that is playing as a par 69. Inverness has hosted many high-profile golf tournaments including four U.S. Opens, two PGA Championships, two NCAA Championships and the U.S. Amateur.

1) Wells Williams, 2) Gordon Sargent, 3) Jackson Van Paris 4) Ryan Downes (Vandy debut), 5) John Broderick.

The Field
A total of 14 teams will participate in the event. Along with the No. 3-ranked Commodores, the field features a total of five squads ranked inside the Golfweek Preseason Top 25.

Ranked teams playing at the Inverness Intercollegiate include preseason No. 1 and defending national champion Auburn, No. 4 Virginia, No. 11 Oklahoma and No. 14 Texas Tech. The rest of the field consists of Cal Poly, Clemson, Charleston, Louisville, Michigan, Purdue, SMU, Toledo, and Wake Forest.

Tee Times
Monday’s first round begins with an 8:30 a.m. CT shotgun start. Tuesday will begin at 9:30 a.m. CT. Pairings for each day can be found at Scoreboard, powered by Clippd.com.

Fans can follow all of the action at the 2024 Inverness Intercollegiate via live results at Scoreboard, powered by Clippd.com. Monday’s rounds will be livestreamed on YouTube.com beginning at 9 a.m. CT. Tuesday will be broadcast on ESPN+ starting at 11 a.m. CT.
