Women's Golf Finishes Eighth in Kentucky


The University of Missouri women’s golf team concluded play in the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational on Tuesday, finishing eighth of 11 schools. 

Sophomore Fleur van Beek began her second season with a top-10 finish, carding a four-over 76 to end tied for 10th with a final score of 220 over the three days.

Junior Addie Dobson led the Tigers on the day, posting a two-over 74, including three birdies on her way to climbing six spots to finish 46th.

Senior Ffion Tynan finished 27th following a strong first two days and finishing with a final score of 226 (73-73-80). Junior Jade Zamora carded a four-over 76 to finish 34th with a final score of 228 (78-74-76).

Missouri placed eighth after three rounds with a final score of 907. TCU finished first, followed by Kentucky and Houston.

The Tigers return to Columbia to host the Johnie Imes Invitational at The Club at Old Hawthorne, beginning Monday, September 23.
