Griffin Named Big Ten Preseason Player to Watch – Penn State

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Penn State men’s golf senior Jake Griffin has been named a Big Ten Preseason Player to Watch, as announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon.
Griffin enters his senior season in 2024-25. He is a two-time GCAA All-Northeast Region honoree and has ranked second on the team in stroke average in each of the last two seasons.
Griffin was Penn State’s top finisher in the Nittany Lions’ 2024-25 season opener last weekend at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate. He owns a 73.00 career stroke average through 84 career rounds in the Blue & White.
Griffin and the Nittany Lions continue their fall season Monday and Tuesday at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational at Oviinbyrd Golf Club in MacTier, Ontario, Canada.
