Wildcats Back In Action At Mason Rudolph Championship

The Wildcats, fresh off a first-place finish at the Folds of Honor Collegiate to open the season, head to the Mason Rudolph Championship at the Vanderbilt Legends Club. Competing is a field of 16 teams with nine teams ranked inside the preseason top 25, including Arizona at No. 14. This is a three-day tournament starting on Friday, Sept. 20 and finishing on Sunday, Sept. 22.

Past Results at Mason Rudolph Championship

The Wildcats have had success in this tournament in previous years including two runner-up finishes and one first-place finish. Most recently, in 2023, the Wildcats finished in second place at 15-under par. In 2012, Arizona won the team event by 11 strokes and had an individual runner-up (Kendall Prince).

Heading Into Tournament

Arizona Women’s Golf is coming off a huge win at the Folds of Honor Collegiate. They beat out numerous ranked teams shooting a total 4-over par over the three rounds. The team had a fantastic final round, shooting a combined 6-under par and three of the five players shooting under par. Individually, Carolina Melgrati led U of A by finishing second place for the best finish of her career.
