SAMMAMISH, Wash. – South Carolina is set to begin play at The Tindall on Monday in its fall swing to the west coast. It’s a 36-hole day one with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. (ET) for the 14-team field.
Senior All-American Nathan Franks has the top spot in the lineup and he’s joined by redshirt junior Frankie Harris, junior Zach Adams, sophomore Brock Blais and redshirt freshman Ismael Encinas, who is making his lineup debut this week. True freshman Marek Flemming will be making his Gamecock debut competing as an individual.
The Gamecocks will be paired with Cal, Oregon State and San Diego State the opening 36 holes. Live scoring will be available via Golfstat.
Washington is the host school this week at Aldarra Golf Club. Built on the original site of the Boeing family farm, Aldarra Golf Club offers a challenging 18-hole, par 71 layout that meanders through rolling terrain with stunning views of nearby Mt. Si and the Cascade Mountains. Just minutes east of Seattle, Aldarra is the only golf course in Washington designed by world renowned golf course designer Tom Fazio. Playing through wetlands, mountain streams, and old growth timber of cedar, oak, and maple, the course creates an environment free of distraction and hassle. The absence of homes on the course, along with its pristine condition and world class design, make Aldarra a true golfer’s paradise.
A trio of top-25 teams is in the west coast heavy field this week in No. 13 Arizona, No. 24 Utah and No. 25 Pepperdine.
