After opening the tournament with a 7-over 291, the Lady Vols turned it around and shot a 6-under 278 in round two.
Senior Bailey Davis and junior Manassanan Chotikabhukkana sit inside the top 10 at 1-under overall through two rounds.
Davis opened the tournament with a 1-over 72 but bounced back with a 2-under 69. She is now eyeing her second-consecutive top 10 finish.
Chotikabhukkana went par or lower in both rounds after firing an even-par 71 in round one and a 1-under 71 to conclude day one.
Freshman Kyra Van Kan had a steady showing on Monday after logging a pair of consecutive 71s and sits tied for 15th at even-par ahead of Tuesday’s final round.
Competing individually for the Lady Vols, Sofie Engeseth is 2-over and tied for 18th going into round three. Engeseth shot a 74 in round one and then registered a 1-under 71 in her second 18 holes of the day.
Sophie Bierstorfer is currently tied for 21st. The sophomore shot a 77 in round one and then went on to surge up the leaderboard after notching a 3-under 68 in the second round.
The final member of UT’s lineup, Sophie Christopher, is tied for 60th ahead of day two.
