SAMMAMISH, Wash. – The Arizona men’s golf team wrapped up the 2024 Tindal Tournament hosted by the University of Washington in sixth place with a team score of 843 after a final round of 287 on Tuesday.
Individually, Tiger Christensen led the way for the Wildcats, finishing tied for sixth place at 7-under par (206) following an even par 71 in the final round. It marks the second Top 10 finish in as many events for him. Over the three days, Christensen played the par 3’s to an average of 2.80 strokes, which ranked second in the field.
Also finishing in the Top 15 was Zach Pollo, who carded a 73 in the final round to put him at 4-under (209) for the tournament and a tie for 14th overall. It is his ninth career Top 20 finish.
Filip Jakubcik and Matej Baca both finished the tournament at 4-over par and in a tie for 46th place individually.
Johnny Walker posted the best final round score for Arizona, carding a 1-under round of 70 including five birdies over a nine hole stretch in the middle of his round. For the tournament, he finished tied for 53rd at 6-over par.
Arizona is back on the course for the Windon Memorial at Conway Farms Golf Club outside Chicago on Sept. 29-30.
