Men’s Golf Back in Action this Weekend at the Windon Memorial


East Lansing, Mich. – After back-to-back top-five finishes to start the season, Michigan State’s men’s golf team is back in action this weekend, playing in the Windon Memorial Classic at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Ill.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament starts on Sunday, Sept. 29 with 36 holes and concludes with 18 on Monday, Sept. 30.

CONWAY FARMS GOLF CLUB

Conway Farms Golf Club opened for play in 1991. The Tom Fazio award-winning course sits on 209 acres in Lake Forest, Ill. and is designed around Scottish links golf traditions. The course was the concept of three families who purchased a farm in 1956 along Conway Road, providing its name. The Club and course are dedicated to the protection and preservation of the game, encouraging walking, fast play and a strong support of amateur golf.
