Top 5 Finish for Men’s Golf in Texas

Fort Worth, TX – Staying put after day one, Arizona State finished the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational in fifth place at 11-under 851 (281-287-283) in Fort Worth earlier today.

Sophomore Connor Williams led the Sun Devils, finishing tied for eighth at even 210 (71-71-68). Freshman Peer Wernicke wasn’t too far behind Williams at 1-over 211 (69-71-71). The team also earned the most pars in the field (184). 

Stay tuned as the Sun Devils head back to Texas to play in their first Big 12 tournament at the Big 12 Match Play on Oct. 7-9 at The Clubs at Houston Oaks.
