Husky Men’s Golf Faces First Road Test At Fighting Irish Classic


SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Playing outside of the comfy confines of its home state for the first time, the Washington men’s golf team will tee off Sunday morning at the Fighting Irish Classic, hosted by Notre Dame at Warren Golf Course.
 
Rounds one and two of the Fighting Irish Classic will be played Sunday, beginning with a shotgun start at 5:30 a.m. PT. Action will conclude with Monday’s third round.
 
No. 6 Tennessee and No. 20 Duke are the lone teams in the field ranked in the Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll. However, Washington is one of six teams receiving votes, joining Louisville, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Purdue and UCLA.

The Fighiting Irish Classic at Warren Golf Course will feature a par-70 course measured at 7,023 yards.

 

Washington will be paired with Augusta and Purdue for rounds one and two.

Washington’s lineup for The Fighting Irish Classic is as follows:
