STANFORD, Calif. – Vivian Lu led the Dawgs – and the entire tournament – after day two of the Stanford Intercollegiate, notching a four-under 67.
The sophomore recorded five birdies and 12 pars, to lead all players through two days of play at Stanford Golf Course.
Washington is tied for 10th on the weekend (+18), led by Lu who sits at six under at the top of the leaderboard.
Jenny Chang improved her performance from round one by eight strokes, beginning round three ranked 92nd.
“Other than Viv, we were clearly not ready to go today,” Head Coach Mary Lou Mulflur said. “Just disappointed in our effort, it was minimal at best. We need to do a better job of managing our emotions and controlling the controllables.”
Sunday will see a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Stanford Golf Course for the final round of the tournament.
