Wilmington, N.C. – Sydney Roberts finished the first round at two-under-par and Clemson women’s golf sits in fifth after the first round of the 2024 Landfall Tradition, held at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C.
Roberts paced the Tigers with five birdies on the day, including three on the back nine to shoot 70 on the day, finishing tied for 9th. Chloe Holder finished her round at -1 (71) to tie for 13th, while Isabella Rawl and Katherine Schuster each finished +1 to tie for 34th. Melena Barrientos rounded out the Tigers’ lineup with a +6 round. Ivy Schulze, competing as an individual, finished at +4.
Duke and Florida State each finished at nine-under on Friday, followed by North Carolina at -8 and Ole Miss at -6. Clemson rounded out the top-five at -1 on the day.
The Tigers are set to tee off round two at 9:15 am on Saturday, paired with Ole Miss and NC State. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.com.
