Wilmington, N.C. – Clemson women’s golf finished at +10 on the weekend and finished tied for seventh at the 2024 Landfall Tradition, held at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C.
Sunday’s conditions were extremely tough, with UCF turning in the best round of the day at +3. Florida State was +7 on Sunday and won the tournament with a two-under-par team score, followed by Duke at -1 and North Carolina at +1. Ole Miss finished at +2, followed by UCF at +4, NC State at +8 and Clemson and Michigan State tied at +10.
Katherine Schuster recorded the best finish for the Tigers, finishing at +3 on the day and +1 for the weekend to tie for 16th. This marks Schuster’s best finish since her freshman season, when she finished sixth at the Clover Cup.
Isabella Rawl and Chloe Holder each finished the weekend T27 at +4 and each ended on a high note with a birdie on 18. Sydney Roberts also birdied 18 and finished the weekend T37 at +6. As an individual, Ivy Schulze was T59 and Melena Barrientos rounded out the Tigers’ lineup T72.
This served as the Tigers’ final tournament of the fall and Clemson will return to the course in February, traveling to Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., for the Therese Hession Regional Challenge.
