COLLEGE PARK, MD — Each week during the 2024-25 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.
This week’s Terp of the Week is sophomore Yang Kuang of the Maryland men’s golf team.
Kuang led the way for Maryland at the White Sands Collegiate event in the Bahamas over the weekend, finishing 6th overall with a career-low score of 205 (68-69-68). He was -11 overall. He made 13 birdies and two eagles in the 54-hole event. His 68 in the first and third rounds were also new career lows. The Terps earned a score of 842 (276-282-284), which was -22 overall and finished fourth.
