With only three events remaining before the cutoff of the CME Group Tour Championship, time is running out for players hoping to vie for the biggest check in women’s golf history. The top 60 players on the CME points list at the conclusion of The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican will qualify for the season-ending event in Naples, Florida.
This year’s CME at Tiburon Golf Club will offer a purse of $11 million and a record $4 million winner’s check. Every player in the field will be awarded at least $55,000 at the 72-hole no-cut event.
A handful of players made significant moves up with strong play at the Maybank Championship while several others moved ever so slightly down the rankings.
Here’s a list of players who are currently on the bubble down the stretch:
UP
A share of fourth in Malaysia moved Tardy up 15 spots in the CME. The 2024 Blue Bay LPGA winner has turned things around in the fall Asian swing.
Russian rookie bumped up three spots after a share of 12th at the Maybank. Guseva has four top 10s on the season.
Alex posted her fourth top-10 finish of the season at the Maybank to move up six spots in the rankings, now only one spot outside the top 60.
Hsu jumped up 10 spots after after recording her first top 10 since June at the Maybank. The 30-year-old Taiwanese player is in the field this week in Japan.
