Concert Golf Partners is making a multi-million dollar investment into the renovation of the clubhouse of the Club at Renaissance, the Fort Myers, Florida, property it acquired in 2022. The capital infusion project will begin in 2025.
The clubhouse, which was built in 2003, will receive various upgrades: the dining spaces will be expanded; the front door and dining areas will be refreshed to elevate their ambiance; new wine lockers will be designed for members; a new bar and fixtures will be installed; and the upstairs terrace will be screened in to provide members with a better view of the golf course, which was designed by Arthur Hills.
The Club at Renaissance is highly rated and is considered one of the best clubs in Southwest Florida. It has low member density with a wide range of tee time availability; it features neither a Chelsea system nor a tee time lottery. The 7,248-yard, par-72 golf course is challenging and features rolling fairways and views of the lake, as well as seven sets of tees to allow members to choose their desired length and difficulty.
“With Concert Golf based in Florida, we strongly believe it’s important to further our long-planned reinvestment in The Club at Renaissance, as our heart goes out to our community in their recovery from the recent hurricanes,” said Rick Rainville, the club’s general manager. “Our members will cherish a more usable and inviting space that will make the facility truly best-in-class. They’ll be able to enjoy more of the clubhouse, and dine in the indoor-outdoor space on the terrace, with the best views of the 18th hole, practice green and 10th hole.”
Concert Golf recently acquired the Golf Club of the Everglades, bringing its portfolio to 35 private clubs across multiple states.
