Anderson Inks Another Top-Five Signing Class – University of South Carolina Athletics

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Head coach Kalen Anderson announced the addition of three future Gamecocks on Monday. Eila Galitsky (Chiang Mai, Thailand), Molly McLean (Melbourne, Australia) and Laura Nepper (Draguigan, France) all signed financial aid agreements to continue their amateur careers at South Carolina.

Galitsky, who is ranked in the top-25 of the World Amateur Golf Rankings, will enroll early and be eligible this spring when tournament action resumes in February. McLean and Nepper will arrive in the fall.

It’s another top-five class for Anderson with Golfweek’s Cameron Jourdan slotting it No. 3 in his list of top-10 signing classes. Galitsky is his No. 4 rated signee on his top-25 individual player list.

Eila Galitsky (early enrollee) – Chiang Mai, Thailand

  • Daughter of Gary and Wasana Galitsky – has a younger brother Benjamin
  • Chose South Carolina because it felt like home
  • Currently ranked No. 24 in WAGR
  • Two-time ANWA participant with a T-8th finish in 2024
  • Played in four events on the Thai LPGA circuit with four top-five finishes, including a win at the SINGHA – NSDF in September
  • 2023 Asia-Pacific Amateur Champion
  • Member of the Thai National Team
  • Has 13 top-10 finishes and four wins total in counting events for her current WAGR

Molly Mclean – Melbourne, Australia

  • Currently ranked 438th in WAGR
  • 2023 Dunes Medal Champion
  • Finished eighth at the 2024 Australian Girls’ Amateur
  • Took third at the 2023 Australian Girls’ Amateur
  • Competed in the 2023 IMG Academy Junior World Championship
  • Has 10 top-10 finishes and one victory this season in counting events for her current WAGR

Coach Anderson on McLean:

“Molly is an elite iron player and ball striker, which in-turn potentially allows herself to create greater birdie opportunities than most. Training and competing throughout the windy, extreme weather conditions of Australia, Molly possesses excellent mental and physical skill sets to effectively handle adversity. Molly is an outgoing, positive personality that will add value to our program both on and off the golf course.”
