Looking back at Tiger Woods’ Hero World Challenge by the numbers

The Hero World Challenge is enjoying a special year in 2024.

Tiger Woods will be the tournament host for the 25th time this week, as his event heads to Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas for the annual season-silly kickoff. A field of 20 golfers will battle it out over 72 holes of stroke play to determine a winner.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is the event’s defending champion, and he finished runner-up to Viktor Hovland in 2021 and 2022.

And with the tournament coming up on its 25th anniversary, there have been plenty of notable statistics to occur during its existence.
