Concert Golf Partners makes 36th acquisition with the Georgia Club

Concert Golf Partners acquired The Georgia Club, a private club near the University of Georgia in Athens, from Pan Pacific Fairway V, the owner of the upscale community that surrounds the club property. The Georgia Club is Concert’s third club in Georgia and its 36th acquisition overall.

The club features 27 total holes across 350 acres designed by Denis Griffiths. The traditional 18-hole Chancellor’s Course, which carries a 74.6 course rating and a 130 slope, showcases the Georgia landscape throughout, including pine trees, azaleas and dogwoods.

Promoting a healthy lifestyle is a key facet of the Georgia Club, which features resort-style amenities and services such as a golf practice facility, pickleball, tennis, fitness, aquatics and a 35,000-square-foot clubhouse that offers various dining options and styles, with a community garden featuring organically grown food. The club also hosts weddings and private parties year-round.

“We’re proud to be the new owners of The Georgia Club, located in a vibrant and fast-growing community,” said Jordan Peace, senior vice president for Concert Golf. “The club’s owners were impressed by how we operate our premier clubs nationwide, and our commitment to continuously re-invest in each of these clubs to ensure they thrive for decades. With additional new houses planned for the community, the current owners were confident in our ability to elevate The Georgia Club and increase home values, while continuing to provide members with an excellent level of service.”

Concert Golf has had a busy year, adding private clubs such as TPC Jasna Polana, The Club at Pasadera, Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Club and Northgate Country Club, as well as making multi-million dollar investments at two clubs in its portfolio at the Club at Renaissance and Heathrow Legacy Country Club.
