PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women’s golf announced the spring 2025 schedule on Tuesday.
The Scarlet Knights are set for seven events, including its annual home tournament – The Rutgers Invitational – which the program will host at the Rutgers University Golf Course April 5-6.
The Big Ten Championship will take place at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Md. from April 18-20.
“The team has been working hard this offseason and they are focused on coming back in the spring stronger,” head coach Kari Williams. “This schedule will be a great test for our team as we will compete alongside top-ranked programs throughout the season. The Rutgers Invitational in April is also one the team is excited about as we have the opportunity to defend our title at home.”
Rutgers will open up the spring season in Florida with a return trip to the Paradise Invitational in Boca Raton, Fla., hosted by Florida Atlantic from Feb. 3-4. RU tied for 4th place at the event last spring.
The Scarlet Knights head west later in February for competition at the Bruin Wave Invitational, hosted by UCLA and Pepperdine at Valencia Country Club from Feb. 24-25.
The team then returns east for another trip to the Briar’s Creek Invitational, hosted by College of Charleston March 10-11 at the Golf Club at Briar’s Creek in Johns Island, S.C. Rutgers finished in a tie for 8th place at the event last year.
RU will remain in the Carolinas for its next event – the City of Oaks Collegiate at N.C. State’s Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C. from March 21-22.
For the second straight season, the program will host the Rutgers Invitational at the Rutgers University Golf Course from April 5-6. The Scarlet Knights will look to repeat as champions at the event, which Rikke Nordvik also won the individual title at in 2024.
The final regular season event is a return trip to the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational from April 12-13 at the OSU Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. RU took home 9th place last season.
The season will conclude at the Big Ten Championships at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Md. from April 18-20. The Scarlet Knights tied for 11th out of 14 teams last year, their best-ever finish at the conference tournament.
